Meet Dr. Jenna M. Bourgeois
Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon
Dr. Bourgeois was born and raised in Michigan and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. After graduation, she relocated to New Orleans to attend Tulane University School of Medicine.
Dr. Bourgeois completed her integrated Plastic Surgery residency training at the University of California Irvine, where she was the Chief Resident from 2016-2017. During this time, she authored multiple articles in peer reviewed journals and plastic surgery text books on topics including breast surgery, wound healing, and facial reconstruction. Dr. Bourgeois had the opportunity to train alongside some of the foremost plastic surgeons in the country and has brought the cutting-edge techniques she has acquired to Baton Rouge.
Her special interests are cosmetic surgery of the breast, body, and face and reconstructive surgery for breast and skin cancer. Dr. Bourgeois approaches all surgeries with a focus on aesthetic outcome and is dedicated to her patient’s comfort and satisfaction. She loves that every day provides a new challenge to provide the best outcomes for her patients while providing compassionate and complete care.
Dr. Bourgeois lives with her husband, a New Orleans native who is also a doctor, and their dog, Stella. Outside of the office, she enjoys travel, being active outdoors, and exploring Baton Rouge.
