The Treatment Process
The Belotero treatment process is quite short and convenient. It only takes around 30 minutes or less to perform, meaning it is perfect to get during one’s lunch break.
First, the areas that require filling are carefully marked in order to serve as a guide for the treatment. Next, a topical or local anesthetic may be administered in order to numb the treatment regions, making the procedure more comfortable. After this, the injections of Belotero will be delivered to the marked areas using a fine-gauge needle.
Once your Belotero treatment is complete, you will immediately be able to go back to work and your regular daily activities without any sort of downtime or recovery time.
A small degree of swelling and bruising may be present in the treatment regions. Make sure to avoid alcohol, NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs), physically taxing activities, and prolonged sun exposure for one day after treatment.
Belotero’s results are typically apparent for six months or sometimes longer. After this time, coming back in for a maintenance treatment is recommended.
At Associates in Plastic Surgery, patients can work with CareCredit to help finance procedures and treatments. If Belotero cost is an issue, the CareCredit program can help.
